Good shooting no matter what, don't want to be a squirrel in your neighborhood.

It's not me...it's the CZ

I just point it in the right direction and close my eyes.....after I hear the shot I look to see what it did.

Well...here it is...

This was my first Fun Match (won't be the last) and my first time out with my new CZ 452 Trainer. I must say.....I love this rifle.

Now maybe this question was asked earlier in the thread, but, when you indicated in the rules that we were not permitted to use a rest or bypod, did you also mean don't lean against a tree? I don't think I've ever shot at squirrel without leaning against a tree.??. Just kiddin' you, I shot off-hand.

I was hoping for better shooting on my part but man, a 3 cm brain is a small target.

BTW - The info on the target indicates that the conditions were good.

Dale

You know, it looks like you might have a winner in the Superstock Bolt area if you wanted to post it there too, Chromie!

yeah so it seems....but I don't even have a SS bolt, and very seldom visit, because I'll be spending more money on one of those next....lol....

anyone that wants can copy and paste the rules in SS bolt, or I can if someone wants to keep up with it but I am not interested in hosting another game right now....

OK...I think I'm finally within the rules Another beautiful morning in Michigan. I made some new shooting sticks last night and decided to try them out. Just two arrows tied together with a cobra stitch.

I had a hard time finding the right ammo out of my stock of test ammo. It finally worked out. I really expected the shooting sticks to be just like a bipod NOT You still dance around like crazy....even @ 4x This was done sitting supported on the sticks.

Nice shooting, and good idea for the shooting sticks, I'll have to give that a try.

Dale

BTW - What better way to start your day? Get out the ol' 22 and do some shootin'. I love it.

Any game in SuperStock HAS to comply with SuperStock rifle rules!! Semi auto only. Sporter barrels only. NO THUMBHOLE STOCKS. Barrel must be no larger than .750" at the muzzle. Etc.

Please read the rules for SuperStock before wasting your time.

From the "Stickies" of SuperStock Forum:

SuperStock Rifles: What are they?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A SuperStock Rifle/Carbine is a light weight Sporter semi auto.
SuperStock is open to ALL brands of semi auto rimfire Sporters

It is the perfect Hunting/Plinking/Target shooting fun gun.

So what are the "rules"? First I would like to say that these rules were voted on by the members of the SuperStock Forum.

NO military or "Tactical" wannabe rifles here! This a "Sporter" class of rifle.

Action:
Any semi auto brand is eligible.
Any modification inside the action that legal (no full auto for instance)
Action may be refinished to improve it's appearance.
Extended magazine an bolt handles are fine
Any SAFE trigger mod is acceptable. This includes aftermarket triggers.
No bolt, lever or pump actions allowed

Optics:
Any scope or optical sight
Any normally mounted Scope mount and/or rings

Barrels:
Stock, Modified stock and after market Sporter dimensioned barrels okay
Maximum Outside Diameter of the muzzle must not exceed .750"
No bull or .920" barrels allowed including factory stock barrels

Stocks:
Factory, Modified Factory, and Sporter weight and design, aftermarket or custom stocks allowed.
Stocks may be wood, wood laminate or synthetic.

NO THUMB HOLE or MILITARY/TACTICAL stocks

Ammunition:
Any factory loaded rimfire ammo of 17M2, 17HMR, 22 Short, 22 Long, 22 Long Rifle or 22 Mag
