After seeing Craiso's Rifle (Very nice BTW) I was wondering if anyone had installed a Magpul MOE handguard on there Nordic AR-22. I am going to try it and see what happens, hopefully I will have some nice pics to post.

Trigger Gaps and Flip-Flops

I am certain someone must have posted this update, but I still see folks asking how to fill the trigger gap on the Nordics ...

... So ... There *IS* a nordic part, for that, and will fit the Nordics and the Ruger SR-22 (of course) ...

Just wanted to be sure it got posted ...

Gap Filler for AR22 Stock Kit

http://shop.nordiccomp.com/Gap-Fille...22-GAP-NR1.htm

Gap filler for Nordic Components AR22 Ruger Stock Kit fills the space between the trigger guard and hand grip. ...
... Provides a comfortable and steady grip. Molded rubber.

Looks like to use the above forend you would need a delta ring setup. I'm pretty sure you can only use free float forends unless you find a way to use a delta ring. Even with the delta ring you need a way to secure the front end of the rail. I've seen it done on here before, have a look around and I'm sure you'll find it.

Craiso used a A2 hand guard and Delta Ring set up, but I believe you have to use the M4 style barrel so you can use the hand guard cap to secure the front of the hand guard.

At first I used a factory bbl that was cut down and threaded. I used a universal quadrail as a front sight block that I secured the end cap to so the handguard would be secure and centered around the bbl. Now I have the M4 profile bbl, so the cap centering is not an issue. However, the cap still needs to be secured the the quadrail.
