thanks for the nice words, rigger and earth and everyone else,

when i got back into rimmers after finding RFC, what i learned was from the SS
forum, mostly, as not too many people at the time were interested in taking
a factory gun and making it shoot better, was easier to slap a new bbl on it.
how true, as i dont own any factory "tent pegs",

SOooooo, in return, i like to share whatever i have learned thru my own
experiences that worked and even the ones that didn't so no one else would make the same mistake. ( my digi-cam was a very worth-while investment ),
and hope someone can benefit from my larnin' here, LOL,

tell you all what, tho', AM still larnin' LOL,

and yes, vincent has been the mainstay here and owe a lot to him, actually,
everyone here has something to share. just a few thoughts from an ole' phart

rico....larnin' everyday....

Shoot Rico, I have learned a lot from all you ole pharts I use to think that CCI Blazer was top of the line great ammo....it was the cheapest at Fleet Farm back then for about $7.99 a brick and when your on mowing wages it's a bargain RFC and SuperStock has opened a whole new can of worms.

well all,

am gonna take another run at the "ZERO" game. found a prob with the stock
i was using. was touching here - n - there and may have been giving me "bad vibes", LOL, i think this stock believes it is still part of the tree and keeps growing. could be the weather?? making the stock xpand a bit ??

another reason; havent given up on the RWS subs yet. just put out some new targets so am ready to try for a coupla "zeros", sure is hot, LOL, hope my shooting is the same, ha ha ha,

rico....

well, another 2-ZEER,

but wasnt worth the bother to mark up the target, but rough figgering came out to 2 .0XX's. should have "snuggeled" up a bit. but i notice that this ammo is less likely to be in-consistent as the SK + depending on the stock set-up. but the stock swap did help a lot.

will be trying again another day for # 4, the "impossible" which makes me wanna try for it all the more, LOL,

should be trying this ammo out to 50 yds and see what it will do. ummmm, good idea, rico,

rico....needs to walk 2X as far, LOL,

yea, rigger,

RWS subs, my oops, should have marked the target correctly. natchez had
a sale @ $38.00 a brick so i tried it out. always thought subs were the best for group shooting, no matter the brand in general,

rico....

How would you rate them against the Remington subs? The remmy's are 28.80 plus tax here.

well, rigger,

here are some groups with the rem subs,

a bit in-consistent for the $$$, but nowhere the $$$ of the RWS ammo. i like shooting the rems, but i pay $30.00 a brick off the shelf here, vs $20.00 for
fed 510 or $13.00 for eagles, and all three shoot about the same IMO,

rico....no tax here so far,....

Guess I will have to try them , look pretty good to me . But I think you may be right, the 510's and the Eagles may be just as good for less dollars.

Will have to see how my 2 shoot them. May look like a smooth bore out of my 2, LOL.

You would think Remington and Winchester would have a bulk type ammo that shot pretty good.

They don't look to bad either Rico, can get them in Hatteisburg. Its about 1.5 hours away but have to go that way Monday to pick up my boys 4-wheeler. Been eye balling them for awhile anyway.

I'd say the Rem subs have them by just a tad.

ummm, well, uh, there is a resident pirate here somewhere,

and the discussion was about the "ZERO" possibility of using cheap ammo to achieve the impossible, since that type of ammo is VERY in-consistent and a hint as to what NOT to use, LOl, and somehow, this kinda got off "course" so to
speak, and wont happen again tonight, hear that rigger?? LOL,

rico....
