Yo getom59 - I used the attachment function in the tool bar while posting - Looks like a "Paper clip". I still have not totally figured out how I got it to work. RFC will store .pdf, .jpg, .gif, etc. files somewhere on their server but will only do a particular file once. Each of the targets I posted in this thread had to be done as a link to another thread where they were originally posted as an attachment as a duplicate is not allowed - Hope this makes sense. Maybe someone else can help us out with a "How To"...

BTW, Please check your thread on barrel free floating - Many folks want to know what you did to "Fix It"...

Rico Double Target

Here is a new target that I have set up for RICOCHET so he won't have to wade out into the snow so much just to change targets. Check it out:

OPS,

thanks, never had a target made just for me. will help as the temps are xpected to go below zero in a few days. will use less paper, toner and staples.

am wondering tho' if with your expertise, can you put 5 teeny holes on the target "pre-shot"so i wont have to shoot and walk all the way out there? or do i have to struggle and do that on my own. am thinking of saving ammo, LOL

thanks again,

rico....

"dancers", LOL.

vincent,

may have been sumpin similiar, but *avery* has not been around THAT long,
laser type print - em- ups , anyway, just wanted to give a heads up if anyone is interested in something fast and cheap to make fast targets.

gonna try them out tomorrow, -10*, wind blowing or not. need to "test" sumpin out. the never ending quest for the one "holer". LOL,

rico....
I just saw this. I hunted pigs on the Avery Ranch 30 years ago. Mr. Avery had been making his dots for awhile before that! I know I used them often in the 70's. Now there are many imitations but I believe Avery are the originals. I used to use the 1/2", 3/4" and the 1". Avery makes them in a number of colors.

Here's one to cut back on the walking.

The original was made by Opsmgr for the fun shoots. There where to versions he did. A single used for qualifing in the 1/4" clubs and a double for Rico.

This version is a quad target, 4 sets of crosses, good for testing ammo.

Heck Rico,

I don't need a wheelchair yet but even I have been thinking of rigging up something to run a target out to 25yds and then bring it back when I'm done. Kinda like the indoor shooting ranges.

Wonder if I could train that crazy Jack Russel terrier to do that. LOL

I wonder if you could rig up one of those electric motors used on car windows to run it out and back?

I was just thinking of a pull the string deal but ya got a point any small electric motor should work.

sure, like a clothes line thingee on rollers, two posts, one on each end, sorta,
sophia, since you have all that land to play with, how about setting up something i can use out of the "oasis". now that would be nice. kinda like the ones in the indoor ranges the police use. no wonder most of them are o'weight, LOL,

actually was thinking of those little motors that operate the drapes / curtains and are remote controlled
wish i had one of those motors. a car power window regulator would require a 12 volt battery, kinda cumbersome, but the idea is worthwhile and a good start. somehow without a lot of trouble, the string idea sounds good. pretty simple,

dont mind walking, but at this time, the yard is a bit slushy. hate to be tracking mud into the house.

rico....
