Just one double but working on more

I've got a CMR 30 & PMR 30. Both .22 WMR and take the same 30 round mags.
All of my other guns are pretty standard as far as their caliber. .17hmr, .22lr, 9mm, 45acp, .223, 12ga, .410 so I would like to find companions for all of those when making my next gun purchases.

I still have plenty of CZs, so I’m still in the game.
TB, I've noticed you selling several guns here and on GB in the past year or two and have wondered if you were just thinning the herd, replacing with other guns, or what.

Or, if you were getting out before the country converts to that luxury communism the democrats are promoting and the big "mandatory buyback program" kicks in.

I have some near doubles and some mirror images (LH and RH versions of the same gun), but the only real doubles I have are a couple of Browning Medalists.

A very thought provoking question! I've never thought about this before but the A5's, 1022's, Model 70's and a some others seem to multiply by themselves in the safe. Like they say though, two is one and one is none.

No one NEEDS doubles (or triples, etc.) but they obviously happen frequently. I'm not sure I even want to review my inventory to count them. But it is food for thought. Awhile ago, a fellow RFCer told me his goal was three (yes, ONLY three!) rifles and
asked me whether I could reduce my herd to even five or six. I thought about it for a bit and concluded that two to three times those numbers was impossible. We are spoiled.

To the original question...
Same rifle, same caliber: None.
Same rifle, different caliber: One pair - CZ 452 American in 22 LR and 17 HMR.

Most everything I have is unique to my collection in some way - a model variant, a different chamber, different stocks or barrels, and so on.

Now, if I were to consider variants of the same model/platform, then the list would grow.

In.22s?

Closest I guess is a 40x and a 40xb.

Outside of .22s?

8 Garands
2 No4 mk1s
3 K98ks
2 M1 carbines

I think that’s it on same model dupes.

Two Miroku built Winchester 63's and two copies of the Winchester 63 made by Taurus. Strange I know, but I am enamored by the 63, its looks, and the way it handles.

That "room" looks like a stairwell, and if it is, indeed, nice use of the space!

yes you do and congrats on being honest with all of us here...I too love firearms...I don't own any Boats, fancy old classic muscle cars...I spend my money of firearms and wood working tools. Now days it is college room and board for my youngest daughter...but I still have my guns to play with.

What more could a loving father ask for.
