Hello. I need some clarification. Does a 10/22 with an aftermarket receiver and barrel, with all/most other components being factory/Ruger, fall within the Super Stock definition?
Thanks!

EDIT: Sorry, I think I posted on the wrong thread.

Depends on the barrel. If the muzzle is .750" or less it is a SuperStock. .750" or more it is a SuperSport. GMHT barrels can be used in either forum.

Both assume a "Sporter" type stock. If it one of those twisted, heavy stocks it needs to go to the Ultimate 10/22 Forum where DrGunner and the guys will take good care of you!

Hope that helps

Thanks to Photo Bucket getting greedy those pictures are gone.

But I did find one that shows where it's placed on the receiver. Put it on both sides, and the back. As Vincent describes in the first post.

Thanks to Hawkeye57 for that. I am going to try to repair this stuff. I saved all my pics from PB and have not been back since. I was going to delete them and tell them to cancel my membership but decided to just leave them taking up space on their servers or where ever they keep them!

Well, they certainly succeeded in making some of our lives miserable trying to see photos from past threads. Us new guys mainly I guess. Thanks once again PB

I'll be watching for the original pictures, I'm saving this topic so I'll know when the pictures come back...

There is an app you can ad to your browser called Photobucket Embed Fix, allowing me to see all the pics here and elsewhere. For Google and Firefox users it' available on the respective browser sites in the Tools menu. I have it on both, and it works great.
