Firing pin block not dropping. Missed a squirrel, (no ignition), 4 times.

Is it the ends of the locking ears that get in the way? It works with my 10" but not the 14".

Your locking lugs, the thingy(ies) that stick out the bottom are not going in far enough to trip the lock-out. Did it work in the past? If, so clean and inspect the receiver and barrel lugs to make sure they are extending fully. If it never worked, it is not fitted correctly. I bought a .Super 14 in .223 for mine, and had to do lots of file and stonework on the lugs before they would go in far enough to engage the lock-out.

Yup

That was the ticket. A tiny bit of dremel and some stone work then lubrication solved the problem. Had it figured out shortly after I posted the request. Thanks for the response.
