Now I really like tat... Johnson_n's Kadet is well used, but still looks great. A good firearm stays attractive even when it shows good use and care.

Love the can on it too, of course.

What's the trigger....that's not factory?

Thanks.

It's the flat SAO trigger from CZ Custom. This lower also has the competition hammer with shorter hooks to remove the trigger creep, removed the FPB for shorter reset, lighter mainspring, and rubber grips. I change out the hammer spring for a lighter one sometimes if mainly shooting 9mm and good quality .22 ammo. With crap bulk ammo I'll get a lot of duds and/or light primer strikes which is kinda annoying.

Mine new was $595.00 plus Tax.

Mine new was $595.00 plus Tax,,,
Exactly $100.00 more than the 9mm version.

It's the last .22 pistol I would get rid of.

But I do have a standing offer of $750.00 if I ever need some quick cash.

I never understood the decision to discontinue the complete pistol,,,
According to a gentleman I spoke with (at CZ-USA),,,
They sold as fast as they hit the market.

I'm just glad I got both of my pistols when I did.

No Kadet, but I got my conversion used in this $635 kit. It works well with both the 75 B and the 85 Combat. It is about 98-99% reliable (about one or two fail-to-function of some sort out of every hundred rounds or so). I haven't tried to fine tune it but I intend to go through it and see if I can make it 100%.

The last new one I saw for sale from a retailer just happened to be the one I bought. I've seen a couple on GB since then but for ridiculous prices. $1100 to $1300. They didn't sell

The DA/SA for about 5 years, the SA only for about 4 years and its actually been sold recently to a friend, I haven't seen one for sell locally for at least two years. I wonder if a "kit" would work on the 75b Omega...hmm.

Kadet 2, the current production model, works on the Omega trigger system.

That would have to be a very good friend, indeed!

CZ Kadet

Was lucky enough to pick up a Kadet a couple months ago from a local individual for $650. It is from 2003 and is in excellent condition with an extra set of walnut grips that came with it and all the paperwork. At the time, I thought it was a little high, but considering that I had never seen another one and actually got to hold it, pushed me over the edge. After shooting it, it would take a good bit more for me to consider selling it. At 25 yds. I was able to hit a 10 inch gong about 8 out of 10 times. That's pretty good for me. It's just has a really natural feel to it.

Congrats on finding a Kadet, Tin Indian!

For $650, a used Kadet in good condition wouldn't last long on the Trading Post here, you made a great buy.
