Ammo question

I bought some CCI Green Tag to try in my 1407. I could hardly get the bolt to close. I have been feeding it Wolf MT, and Remington with no problem. I miked the rim and its the same as the other ammo. Anyone else had this problem? It shoots about the same as the MT, so for the price I'm going to stay with the MT anyways. And yes, I could put a Wolf right back in and no problem chambering.

Yeah, the Green Tag is VERY tight in both my MPR and my H&R M12 too. I've not mic'ed it but it must be larger in some dimension. Like you said, no great loss... for the same money there's other ammo that shoots better in both guns.

different

OAL for the driving band. just means your rifle's chamber is a bit short for the CCI round. I found that alot when I was testing ammo.
