I cannot seem to get the vol barrel assembly to slide into the receiver of my take down rifle. Any trick to it. Followed the on line directions from the manual.
I had the same issue with the first one I bought and just couldn't get it in. I returned it and bought another and at first I thought I had the same issue. It too just the right spot to get it started and had to work it in. It's a very tight fit. It gets a little easier after the first time but still pretty tight. I think maybe the first one would have fit if I were just a bit more patient.
I start with the pic rail just over the ejection port and turn it upwards and push in.
Well thanks for the heads up. I got it to go. Very snug fit and has to be perfectly lined up. I just stayed with it and finally it went together. I think it will stay that way.
