Recently shot some Winchester Super X 40 grain round nose and EVERY round stuck in the cyl of my single six. They stuck so hard I had great difficulty ejecting fired rounds...the ejecting rod is too short to push them all the way out and were too tight to pull with fingers. The rounds all fired with the same report and had no weirdness. Winchester Wildcats, Fed and CCI work aok but not Super X. Anyone else have this issue with Super X?
I have had nothing but problems trying to shoot Winchester Super X in my GSG 1911 .22. I had a couple of boxes sitting around and took them to the range with the GSG and couldn't use them. I'll not be buying any more of that ammo.
Only round I've tried that won't work in my S&W Victory. Like you said, one got stuck in the chamber and I had to pry it out with a knife. Also grouped TERRIBLE in my Savage MKII. Talking 4" groups at 50yds.
I bought the SuperX during the ammo shortage because it was the only ammo on the shelf at Academy. It will probably cycle ok in my bolt savage but won't buy it again.
They shoot fine with my rifles, bolt or semi .. i don’t mean accuracy or consistency, just no hic hups .
