Sako Quad & a CZ 455 with a Lilja bull barrel. I only hunt with them. Paper punching is for my 22's.

One is a conversion ...circa... about three months after the barrel was available and ammunition was NOT...yet.
and Two is a rifle length Contender that is a really really accurate rig.

I've got 3 of them. A CZ 452 Varmint (traded in an American to get it), a 77/22 conversion and a 10/22 conversion.
The CZ is my favorite squirrel gun and I'm actually considering switching the 10/17 back to a .22 for a while since I have more .22 ammo than Hm2 and because I want to try a Feddersen barrel.
What action parts, besides the bolt handle, will I need to replace to switch back to .22?

Thumbs up

I have long expected this ammo to be discontinued. Long ago the 5mm mags discontinuation caught me off guard. Not again!!! So I have accumulated enough for me by buying a couple boxes everytime I saw it in a store.

Iove mine it's the most accurate RIMFIRE I have ever shot. It's a defineately KEEPER!!!!

I have a BSA Martini rifle (take down action) in a leather and wood case and with two barrels: one Douglas Premium blue bull barrel in 22 LR, and another bull barrel stainless steel Douglas premium barrel in 17 HM2.

Nice single shot set up, but as I can buy 17 HMR ammo for the same price or even less than the 17 HM2 nowadays, and I have other guns to shoot 22 LR, the Martini has been relegated to the role of safe queen!

I've got 3. All CZ 452's.
One Varmint, and two Americans (one Walnut and the other Maple).

Lucked into an out of the way gun shop that had a stash of 17HM2, picked up 1 brick of CCI and 5 bricks of Hornady. Yeah, I know it's not Eley or Remington, but in this environment I now know I can shoot these rifles for the forseeable future.

Best squirrel gun I USED TO own

Guns come and go and I'm ok with virtually every gun I've parted with. This is one rare exception. I wish I still had that sucker. It was shooting a laser gun.

M/2

We live in p.d. Country. In June when the pups show up on the hole, the m/2 is an absolute butt kicker. Shoot [email protected] time, and when the nurse shows up, get her too. The m/2comes as close to a lil piece of lead on a string as you'll ever have the privilege to shoot ! Have : 717/m2, t.c.-r-55, NEF-m2, taint none of em leavin! We have , 17rem, 17 hornet, (6) 17HMRs, 3-m/2, 1 -17wsm. Have killed coyotes with em all ! What a great caliber !!j.c.
