Were any of the 452 series rifles made with an adjustable trigger? Interested in these rifles but like the idea of an adjustable trigger. Specifically a factory adjustable trigger. Thanks for any response by you 452 owners/users.

The adjustable & set trigger was a factory option in the 453 line of rimfire rifles. Practically the same as the 452 but not available in all the same models (American, Lux and Varmint only if I properly recall), a bit more expensive and with the said trigger system.

Can still be found either used or sometimes even NIB in online vendors such as Gunbroker.

The 452 triggers are adjustable. You can make them heavier by turning the nut on the trigger spring. Then you can make them lighter.

Or you can put in a lighter spring.

And or an adjustable sear.

And or a timiney or rifle basix trigger.

ALL of the 452s had/have adjustable triggers. The use of a lighter spring and, my favorite, a DIP adjustable sear can easily yield a crisp 1# or even a bit lighter trigger.
