What would be a good scope for target shooting that wont break the bank. Looking for a 24x or 32x. Thanks.

Tasco,BSA,Weaver,made in Japan. $200-$600

They are found in 24x to 36x and are regularly found on eBay.

Also Leupold and can be pricey but worth every penny.

Good enough for 50 50 yards and for less than $200 outstanding.

Can you buy better? Yes, but not for less$.

Id have recommended their fixed 40 x, https://www.ebay.com/itm/38422033604...gAAOSwS3Ncbw7n

But the op , limited it to 32 x.

It depends on how much is in your bank, but Vortex and Athlon both offer affordable choices in the 24 to 40 magnification range, too. "Affordable" is subjective, of course, but with scopes you generally get what you pay for.

The Weaver T24ís are great scopes for the money. Also their V24 (6-24)with a Varminter reticle is good too.

I donít care for eye strain anymore. If itís not bright and clear edge to edge for a single power Iíll have to pass.

I have just got to where if it makes my eyes hurt or give me a headache Iíll pass.

Wish vortex and a mid class 24x single power.

I have the Athlon Midas BTR GEN2 4.5-27x50. I bought it because of the clean looking reticle. I shoot 50 and 100 yards with it and am very satisfied. I bought mine for 589.https://athlonoptics.com/product/mid...mr-sfp-ir-moa/

Target Scope

I have purchased a number of scopes direct from Mueller and found them all very impressive. Used their warranty and found them very easy to work with. Just follow the instructions

Fixed or variable magnification? A lot more choices in that price range for variable power scopes. Fixed mag the Sightron 36◊ mentioned above is a good recommendation. You could also find a Weaver T-36 for around $350, although the Sightron is a little better IMO.
