Sun Optics Scope Rings
Has anyone tried scope rings made by Sun Optics? I've got a 452 American and a Weaver RV7 in the mail and it looks like these might work well for low price.

I'm considering the SM754 model.

Never used SunOptics, but if you are looking for more ring/$ I highly recommend Hawke Sport Optics Match Rings which actually come in a low ring size! http://www.opticsplanet.com/hawke-sp...ope-rings.html
You can also get them from Amazon.
I also own and like UTG Rings, but they come in high and medium only. If you want low, Hawke Sport Optics Match rings are the only ones I know that are low, unless you go to the lower Keystone Crickett rings.

Check out BKL rings just used a set of 263hmb to put an elite 4500 ,40mm bell on a cz452 lux, used the highs so I didn't have to remove the rear sights and there is a gap in the mounts so I can still use the iron sights.

You paid for a weaver instead of some cheapo simmons, a cz instead of a savage, why skimp a few dollars on rings? Get some warne, talley, or burris that your setup deserves. The rv7 works on warne med.

No, not rich. However the rings is the foundation of any accuracy your scope will provide. Just like a solid foundation is important on your home. Spend good money there one time. Then any issues with accuracy can not be associated with the foundation of your scope. Spend now and don't worry about it later.
Zero cant built into them, CNC made from billet aluminum, tough as nails and no worries about your foundation...spend the money where it matters
How important is your accuracy? If ur just plinking, don't buy them. If ur not wasting time while shooting, spend the money.

Norton blocks that TPS site.

TPS needs to fix their site.

The OP appears to be looking for rings that use the dovetail grooves on the 452.

I have tried the Sun Optics dovetail rings and they are garbage. The angle did not match well to the grooves and they are cheaply made. My advice, buy once cry once.

UTG makes several sets of low rings. I prefer my UTG rings to other more expensive rings. They are great quality, rock solid, lightweight, and can be bought for under $20. What's not to like???

The only company I've found that makes better hardware than UTG screws is DNZ. DNZ's hardware is even beefier than UTG. And UTG is rock solid. I have two of my rifles set up with UTG rings and two with DNZ. Talley is great also. My deer rifle wears Burris Signature rings with the inserts. Can't say anything bad about any of these ring-makers.
CZ rifles don't need picatinny rails. But you can put Picatinny rails on them if ya just want to be tacticool. It's like laying railroad track on top of a perfectly good highway.

I like the Burris Signature rings. If you want to attach directly to the dovetail the Medium Signature Rimfire rings will work. If you use adaptors that allow you to use Weaver style rings, you can use the Medium Signature Zee rings. I used the JP delrin adaptors and medium Signature Zee rings on my new 455 American. Good combo - adjustability and no marring of the scope or rifle.
SquirrelBark, I like the RR track analogy! My feelings as well.
