527 80gr confirmation,

me thinks the CZ people may use metric tooling and the bbl is closer to 8 than 9,but at any rate I have no doubts now that it is stabilizing the 80 gr Berger VLD,,

Lake City once fired brass in the CZ,trimmed to length, necks turned to .011 just so that when you size the brass the expander plug just barley scrubs the inside of the neck coming out,

neck sized with FL die set to size all but the last ,050 of the neck without touching the shoulder

CCI BR4 primers

24.5 grs Varget every charge thrown on the scale and exactly 24.5 grs

80 gr Berger VLD loaded .010 into the rifilings at 2.418 OAL

first 5 at 10 AM with a tail wind shifting from 10 to 2 o`clock, put in 2 1/2 MOA left and tried to send them all with the same wind,,it was very hard for me to catch them all 5 the same.

anyways first 5 shots at 500 yards with 11 MOA up from 100 and 2 1/2 moa in the wind

right at 5 1/4 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches tall,,I am confidant it will hold MOA easy and with some practice with this wind thing the sky`s the limit.

may not make out the targets but it is 530 to the fence and the target is 509.

with a 10X scope no less,,LOL

Might be ... one turn in 220mm/8.66", as used in 7x57 military rifles. That twist was also used in the 6.5x55 sporters made by B.S.A. and U.S.R.A.C., which were not intended for use above the Arctic Circle, and consequently did not need a 1 in 200mm/7.87" rifling twist.
