Here's the latest on my dressed up Varmint. Aimpoint, (very effective) custom muzzle brake/compensator, and maple fore end. The block of maple it's sitting on will (someday) be the matching set of grips

My Long Barrel

Had not shot this in 15 years until last weekend, it was fun but my old eyes and glasses sure make it less fun than it used to be.

This was originally a 2015 Buckmark stainless Micro Bull barrel with the old style black grips. I changed the barrel to a Stainless Bullseye 7-1/4 and put on some nicer grips.

Just so we all know the long BMs and TS barrels available now are 7.25" not 7.5".
Anyway I am also on a rimfire racegun group and apparently TS made a run of 8" or 8.5" LW barrels that were bought by a certain gunsmith I know because he posted a picture on the page. He was making guns and not selling them or I would have had one instantly.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but here in UK we hate our long barrelled pistols... it's the only legal way to own a pistol, but the law stipulate barrel of at least 12 inches, and overall length of 24.

Here's mine (before I got my Simmons Pro Hunter scope).

Update on my 2002 Camper 5-1/2 tapered barrel modifications-----------
changed the hammer, link and sear spring. Put new sear, new buffer and recoil spring assembly, new disconnector and spring and put on new grips. Kept the stock trigger for now...........

My 2016 Standard URX with 5-1/2 barrel---- I changed the barrel to a Bullseye 7-1/4, the top rail to a TacSol, and put a fiber optic front sight on it.
