The Long Barreled Buckmark Picture Thread

I'd love to see everyone's long barreled buckmarks! Like say everything in the 8"-14" or so range. So everyone with Silhouettes, Varmints, Unlimiteds, custom guns, etc. post your pictures!

This is my Buckmark Unlimited with its 14" barrel. Its actually a recently manufactured, non-target frame that I converted to the unlimited. I'm still looking to get some grips that match the forearm.

I'm sorry, but I've got to say that those are the most ridiculous and ugliest excuses for a pistol I've EVER seen. So just drop them in the mail to me and I'll take them off your hands for you. I might be able to use 'em as jack stands or something!
I own a Lite Splash, but it's only the 7.25" barrel. So I can't post.
(when did this turn into a size thing?)
Looking good so far, though.

Here's mine. I would like a forend. Where can you get them? If I can't find the forend I might be willing to trade my grip. I'd only trade it for something like what is on chim's though. Also how do the sights mount? Can I add open sights to mine?

Here's one of my Buck Marks. It has a four-inch threaded barrel, and an AAC "Aviator" suppressor that is 6.5 inches long.

Great guns guys!

Snakeskinner, you can get the forend from Browning. The one that I bought was part number B5152870. You can also get the sights from Browning. I can better help you determine what sight parts you need when I get to my other computer tomorrow. You can download this schematic and all of the parts and prices by going here: http://www.browning.com/services/gun...ices/index.asp and downloading the "gun parts price list catalog".

Ok here are the part numbers, prices, and descriptions that you need to turn your Varmint into a Silhouette (same gun but with the forearm and sights).

B5152870 Silhouette forearm $36.50
B5152871 Forearm screw Silhouette $1.00
B5152889 sight post front silhouette $4.00
B5152887 sight post lock screw Silhouette $1.00 (order a different part if building an unlimited)
B5152753 sight assembly pro-target (target models) $45.00
B5152680 sight pro target mount screw for rib mount only $1.00

I would definetly check your top "sight rib" and make sure that there is a place to screw the front sight into, a small hole in the side or front of the rib that locks the front sight into place, a notch in the rear for the rear sight to sit in with a hole through it for the screw to secure the sight. I think the Silhouette rib and the Varmint rib are the same but I'm not sure.

If you want the sight hoods order these parts:
B5152891 sight hood front silhouette $5.00
B5152892 sight hood rear silhouette $5.00

I hope that helps! These are the parts that I ordered to build my unlimited.

Thanks Blue. The Silhouette and Varmint rail must be different. I don't have a place for the front sight nor do I have a place for the rear sight. I really need the scope for squirrles but thought it would be neat to have the open sights just in case. I can use the forend I think for two hand shooting when squirrel hunting.

Ah, thats too bad. You could buy the Silhouette rib/rail if you wanted ( B5152857) but it is $84.25. Before you order the forearm you should make sure that the underside of your barrel has a threaded hole. Otherwise there isn't anythign to hold it on with! It probably does because the barrels have the same part number.
