Recent days I have been taking the Mk II down so I can learn the process of reassembling it. Took it down this morning before going to enjoy Thanksgiving with the family.

By the way: Happy Thanksgiving! We have so much to be thankful for.

I noticed a little place that needed stoning on the trigger group, so I took the trigger group out, stoned the place and put it back together. Went to together the first time, and now I am anxious to get it back to the range, I have some cardboard that needs some holes put in it.

It only took about 1/2 hour to do the deed and I enjoy tinkering with things.

Have a blessed day,

Leon

Leon,

Hope you and yours had a blessed Thanksgiving!

In short order, you'll have that full re-assembly down to <5 minutes!!

A little swipe of heavy grease or anti seize under the lug that holds on the upper will make it easier for the parts to slide together and apart.

Once you understand how the major parts interact, it is pretty easy to put back together.

That being said, a Mark IV Hunter for Christmas wouldn't be frowned upon!
