Trigger Shoes...

If the shoe fits. wear it. It fit. These Remington 500 series triggers seem to be all alike. About a quarter shape curve and I found a link to where I got it long ago.

https://www.t-grips.com/index.html

A new one from them would cost $37 and shipping for a total order, I guess if you are ordering multiples, same cost, is $8.75. Quality item. It does make the trigger pull seem a lot lighter.

Thanks John for the offer. I did switch it over just now. And I am thinking of putting the Remington 513T up for sale this weekend. It has a Harrell Tuner on it and a 6-18x A.O. Redfield scope on it. Shooting Sporting Clays tomorrow morning. Later.

Tom,

How do you like the UIT? I have had a couple in the safes, but they are gone now.

Sebastian, Florida. December 16, 2019

199-13x @ Sebastian, Florida. December 16, 2019

Savage/Anschutz Model 64
Redfield Olympic sights
Harris Bi-Pod & Protextor rear bag
Wolf Match Extra ammo
A23/5 targets
Sunny and 12-15 mph wind.
50-4x, 49-2x, 50-4x & 50-3x = 199-13x

This is almost a duplicate of a target I shot in October. Moving from Bull #1 to Bull #2 the first shot was way outside. I think maybe there is some different strain on the bi-pod contributing to this. Frustrating.

I'm thinking that's where most 199's come from and like you say it's frustrating.

I had one for a while, but I prefer my 52's. A friend in Pa. has it now and he likes it. Glad to hear you enjoy yours.

December 23, 2019 in Florida.

195-7x @ Sebastian, Florida. December 16, 2019

CZ Lux
Factory open sights
Harris Bi-Pod & Protextor rear bag
Eley bulk from CMP
A23/5 targets
Mostly cloudy and 12-15 mph wind.
49-2x, 48-1x, 48-2x & 50-2x = 195-7x

My old eyes simply can not bring the rear sight into focus, so all of this is a fuzzy shooting exercise. Still fun. I bet if we had not overhead cover and bright sun light, the sights would not be quite so fuzzy. I might shoot sporting clays tomorrow, but today is last day of this until after Christmas. Merry Christmas to everyone.

200-16X @ Indian River County Shooting Range, Sebastian, Florida 12/23/2019

Winchester 52D, Redfield International MK 8 sights
CMP Eley Bulk Ammunition.
Cowan Front Rest, Protekter Bags Front & Rear
Mostly Cloudy, Winds 12-15 MPH

50-4X, 50-4X, 50-4X,50-4X = 200-16X

Had a flyer on the last target, used a .22 plug and it was just touching the 10 Ring. Verified by David Valdina.

Like David said have old eyes and hard to see the bullseye and get things centered. good thing I have an eye appointment scheduled for 12/26.

Why are we still posting in the Sept.2019 postings?

John, go back to page one, posting in 2018

John, go back to page one. Dated in 2018. Somehow we got to be posting on the wrong month and as the latest post brings it up front and center, we continue it. We probably should do a cut and paste and post in the latest month, which may be November, 2019. David
