Have one made the same year. Great rifle. Mine was really rough when I got it. I spent alot of time on the rifle and it turned out really good. A kid I knew was wanting to hunt and didnt have a rifle so I gave it to him. He moved back to PA. and I feel sure he still has it.

$249 - helluva buy !

You shop awesome. I have a similar scope (Weaver K3 with same reticle design) on my CZ Carbine. Great scope for viewing in heavy brush.

Don't worry. The antlers don't taste that good anyway.

181# dressed, he might not taste all that great anyway LOL
Might go out tomorrow and try to arrow a doe w recurve on video.
Or sleep in and go fetch deer from processors.
Got a few packs or brats and summer sausage made.
The burger will be donated to local mission.
Should be a fair amount of him.

I like antlers, and backstraps.

A 90# doe would be fine for serious cooking.
Might take Contender out over holiday weekend.

I like wrapping a chunk w bacon and jalapeno slice, cooking on grill, Miller Lite is fine with em too. Work 2nds. Hop out of shower, grilling at 2 am in middle of winter.......in my shorts.

Eh privacy fence, and my ol lady works 3rds.

It's good to be the king.

That was a great buy IMHO.
I would not have passed it up.
Cool period scope too.

But being an old optic, could be of risk.
If it doesn't work out a VX2 1-4X would be cool on it.
