And I would love to put them up, but this is beyond my know how. I will keep trying.

Ok Guy's/Gal's
Got the new follower in, and the rifle is running great. Now I just need to get to the range and do some paper punching in the next couple of weeks to set the sights properly. This rifle with that 16" barrel is very small little package. I am going to enjoy shooting her very much.

Between my new S&W model 41 with the three barrel that I purchased and set scopes and Red Dots on. My new Henry .410 Lever action ( shortening the LOP)

I have plenty of range work for sighting things in properly this week.

That sounds like my kind of fun. I tinker with my collection quite a bit. I really tried to like my 62, it just was not happening. My grandkids will be coming in for Thanksgiving, will try to get a photo loaded up then.

anita,
That would be great. I am only 5'5" tall so last night I ended up cutting the LOP to 12". Now she is even smaller but man she fits good.

I've owned a Rossi 62 octagon for over 20 years now. I put a Marbles tang sight on it and it's all the 22 I've felt that I need for years now.

I have a 62 SAC with the nickel finish. Great little rifle to walk the fields with.

Roadrat, that is a nice rifle and very nice photo! I love my octagon bbl Rossi 62 for what it is. It has a very nice crisp trigger and good action. However, the sights are crude and accuracy is so-so, good for making tin cans bounce around, and that's really what I bought it for. It's just a fun little rifle to carry and shoot.

am not sure if it is the cruder sights or the actual rifle is not quite as accurate. It maybe me just getting use to it, but mine appears to be the same way.

I think that it is some of both in my rifle as well. The bore and rifling are far from perfect. Externally my rifle is in very nice condition and I don't think it has been abused or neglected, I have just come to believe that the barrels on these rifles are not top notch, at least the two that I have owned haven't been.
