Walmart carbine

Saw this at walmart today. It's got the black American stock that I've been looking for (already bought a grey on off ebay), ruger 10/22 embroidery on sling. They want $244 for it. Seems tempting.

Hell,its worth that just to get the good one colored stock.

Did i get it.....well not yet....see i was "getting some fresh air" while my wife was going through labor. Haha....i thought long and hard but thought that i'd do a lil research and get feedback on the gun. Plus the main reason is the one on the shelf had a bad plastic mold ridge spot thing on it. I asked the clerk if they had more and he scaned it and said they had 2 more. So instead of waiting for him to find them i figured that would take to long during my "freash air break" so i hurried back the the hospital. We r home now so i may need to make a milk run 😉

Bought one a few weeks back. Good gun. I bought if for an Appleseed gun. Hope to attend one soon. Swapped out the sights (Tech Site) and bolt (JWH). Good shooter, LOL better that my eyes will let me.

At that price its a good entry into the 10/22 world.
Sure wish Ruger would sell those stocks separately.
bet they would move a lot of them.

Yeah baby girl. All good. I'm gonna try to make it by there tomorrow and buy it. I dont need it thats for sure. I was gonna piece a blued and a stainless one together for two more rifles. Well now i just may buy this and piece together the stainless.

I beg to differ on that point. At present, I own ten 10/22 of various flavors and vintages, and 2 RAR's. I didn't NEED any of them. When speaking of guns in general, and 10/22's in particular, what's need got to do with it? LOL.
