Hey guys m New here I have yet ot find out little info on this gun other than it as made in either 1957 or 1960.I have a marlin 22 model lever action serial number is p1619 . My grandad gave it to me a couple months ago. It has never been shot except for maybe a couple times by me when I was little. My grandad always kept it under his bed and as far as I know he has never shot it. I have no documents on it which I haven't asked him about it yet I haven't really started to look on info about it till a week or two ago. Thanks for any info that you guys give me.

I think you have to be a member for about a month before you can post any images. Check the RFC membership rules.

Welcome to RFC where you can find enough information on most of the rimfires, shooting techniques, and gunsmithing advice. Read the sticky above on dating the 39A you might find your answer there. Another thing that I recommend new members to do is to read all of the posts in the forums about the guns that you own and shoot, or are thinking of buying. Some of the forums I know have multitudes of posts-so you just might want to go back a few years. You can also search each forum, of do a google search to find the info you want plus some.

Hope this helps.
