As I read the rules it appears to me the Boyds pro varmint would be OK here correct?

Seems like a perfect choice to me. I have never seen one except the pictures in the Boyds "Gallery" and I seen no glaring rule issues.

I think one in a high grade Maple would be really nice.

Even though the laminates are more stable I am still a lover of "real wood"

Looking forward to seeing this Chromie if that is where you are headed. Any color or wood choice yet or are you going to surprise us?!

Maybe some but this SuperSport not SuperStock. Here we try to look at his with a bit less conservative bend to it. To me it looks like a target/varmint stock but if you read the magazine or the internet it seems like those lines blur more as every year goes by. I think in this forum we SHOULD try to look a little kinder on the newer designs. If any one else disagree it is an open thread and they are welcome to THEIR opinion.

If it were to get serious enough we could even vote but what would we vote on? The hook on the bottom. Screw it! If you get serious about buying one and we have no one jumping up and down yelling "Fire" I think you are good to go.
