Jeeper's,, I would probebly still plinking with my 30.06's???
One reason I stayed from the K Hornet,, we are limited enough by what we can get over the counter.
Haveing kid's in the house here, dont allow me to leave thing's set up.
Sometime's in a pinch, I have had to go with over the counter stuff..

Been looking at this thread and another on .243's and another about CZ 550 FS.

I believe I saw somewhere that the twist on the CZ527 .22 Hornet barrels was 1 in 16. Have no idea if that is correct or not.

In a Gunbroker ad I saw the twist for the .243 listed at 1 in 16 (on a varmint model). I would think that may be incorrect. If not, it would not have a prayer of stabilizing the long 100-105gr bullets popular for medium game.

Bottom line to this drivel is: Is there a reliable source for the twist info for CZ arms? I can't find it in the catalog specs.

Vincent, sorry about getting a little off-topic here, but if the twist is 1 in 16, that might explain your rifle's preference for the lighter bullets.
