35į Temperatures have been dropping all day. It's been fairly mild this week.

USPS, little brown truck, X white truck, and gray prime truck all stopped today.

Got this today.

It's a teal, it is!

Thanks y'all...

Yesterday we went looking for eagles, got 7 pictures of the heron in flight,
never saw an eagle.

This old crow will have to do (1/500th, 600mm, offhand and standing)

Now you're cheating! What fun is to not have to pound the metal teeth from the bottom of the metal stand into the stump, tightening the eye screws, standing the tree up to lay under it adjusting the screws until the wife give the "ok it's straight".

CROW KILLS...

Researchers for the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority found over 200 dead crows near greater Boston recently, and there was concern that they may have died from avian flu. A bird pathologist examined the remains of all the crows, and, to everyone's relief, confirmed the problem was definitely not avian flu.

The cause of death appeared to be vehicular impacts.

However, during the detailed analysis it was noted that varying colors of paints appeared on the bird's beaks and claws. By analyzing these paint residues it was determined that 98% of the crows had been killed by impact with trucks, while only 2% were killed by an impact with a car.

MTA then hired an ornithological behaviorist to determine if there was a cause for the disproportionate percentages of truck kills versus car kills.

The ornithological behaviorist very quickly concluded the cause: When crows eat road kill, they always have a lookout crow in a nearby tree to warn of impending danger. They discovered that while all the lookout crows could shout "Cah", not a single one could shout "Truck."

Last year the tree was held up with eye hooks and 20# fluorocarbon. The old tree stand served well for 20 years.

You are going to become an expert on birds.
Next thing you know you will know the difference between a red wing and a tri color blackbird, killdeer and plover and so on.

Wiener dog racetrack done (by hand). Good cardio B that; some pulmonary symbolism involved as well.

Now to wait with (a)bated breath for the auction results while trying to decide on the best choice among my plethora of scopes.

The Xanax has kicked in. Off to the lot to get a Christmas tree. I find it very stressful.

And then remembering you forgot to saw off the bottom of the trunk for better tree sucking up water every day hence delaying the inevitable needle drop.

Red Tubby got a pass while dining during my lunch break.

Finn says get the CZ.

Winter's coming again Mon.. Gosh, I sure hope it doesn't hit the NYC area after.

Howdy all!

YWC just got moved to a physical rehab facility after 15 days in the hospital. Private room, and they will be putting her on the fast track to get home. Hopefully not too long. Sitting with her now. She is sleeping! That's a good thing!

Hope you all are having a good day!

Remember those killed on Pearl on this day.

You should be using your waiting time as I would.
Deciding whether to tell the Mrs., or just sneak it in.
