Or do like Todd Wooten and I did test a handful of lots from Clint, picked one and shot it in the IR-50 indoor nationals, first and third each a different lot.

Going to be a zoo when it opens, think the CA. gold rush, I expect they will have long list of testers to work through when it opens. I am more inclined to get my own test lots and try them indoors at Cridersville, Fresno, or matches at Luray, Chickenfoot, or the Barn.

The test center is next to the rifle/pistol range, located about 1/4 mile from the west end of the trap line.

Ken

I'm not going to be testing there so don't count on me for info. I have enough Midas and C-X for next year from the 9 lots I tested from Clint. The "this lot shoots really well" rate at Luray was probably around 30% among me, Todd, Ralph VH, Bub K, and Rhett.

I did not google map it. I went off a guy I used to work with that lived in or near Marengo, and we worked close to Worthington, and it took him 45 min, to an hour to get to work every day.

I have been to the Lapua Testing Center in Arizona

It was interesting, but, if I was to do it again, I would just ship them the barreled action.

Same result

Shipping, just the barreled action is less expensive than you might imagine, via FedEx Ground or UPS.

Killough Shooting Sports in Winters, TX has the same option for Eley. They usually have more, different lots available than Lapua does.

Not sure when you went there. but for those who believe it is the total setup in how a rifle shoots, if you bring your 1-piece rest you can test off it just like you would at the range.
