I felt ok shooting prone, but standing and sitting and kneeling I could tell that I hadn't done this in a long time. Got to get back into the game!

Nice shooting. I'm not sure I'll be able to hit the target standing when I get a chance to get out! Stinks being a "cheerleader". I'm still looking for a place to shoot as the TWRA range banned 50yd prone shooting because of morons with their AKs and M4s who can't hit a target to save their life, much less keep all rounds within the range berms.

23's Dad: Nice scores! You too, PWNolan.

clydesdale: Outstanding! Hope to shoot my 52 D or 40X this year. That'll be a new experience as I've only shot light rifle with iron sights. I'll probably have to a variable scope too. No telling until I try and see what magnification will work best all 4 positions at 50 yds.

Thanks! I'd like to try 50 yards but the ranges around here only have benches so no 4P. However, I did shoot an AR-15 today and I'm very tempted to try out the competitive highpower world. It's a bit further drive to the ranges and more expensive ammo but several guys at our club do it so I could get started with good advice straight away.

Our club (Sycamore Sportsman & Conservation Club) has highpower clinics. I can get you info/details if you're interested.

I don't shoot highpower at this point. I shoot smallbore during the winter months, silhouette in the warm months, and CMP rimfire sporter year round. I think that adding highpower to the mix would push me over the edge time and money wise.
