I had one just like yours,,,

I had one just like yours,,,
In fact, it was the first rifle I ordered,,,
When I got back into shooting around 2005-6.

I put a lot of bulk ammo downrange with it,,,
Basically I loved the leisurely way of shooting that it promoted.

I gave it away to the youngest son of my best friend,,,
Actually I gave all three of his sons a rifle.

I had a cheap red dot laying around,,,
And since the other two rifles I gifted were scoped,,,
I decided to mount that red dot and get it dialed in for the kid.

It took a while for me to get it dialed in,,,
But shooting it with Wally World bulk ammo,,,
I was hitting a 1.5" spinner (50 yards) every shot.

That's off of a rest of course.

I think you will be pleasantly surprised with that little shooter,,,
I know Aiden is pleased as punch with his.

Turned and threaded the barrel down it 16.5 inches, had to recrown it a bit deeper as the first didn't get all of the distortion out made by the live center of the lathe.. after a recrown it shoots Very well for a brake action. Better than I was expecting.
2-7x32 scope and CCI STD velocity. It did this at 50 yards.
