So great to see this discussion. We have built some amazing rifles here.

As for the "cans" it was a vote. Done to the same rules as all off our other rule votes. This is the ONLY forum here where the members make the rules.

Crazy part is, I think, only 2 rifles were ever posted with suppressors here.

Can we please leave that stuff? Seems like throwing baby away with bath water over such a minor disagreement.

Back to subject at hand with some of the shootingest (yeah I made up that word but it fits our group) guys on ANY forum!

Do we need a nail game?

I think flat headed roofing nails at 25 and/or 50 yards would be fun.

I always thought "Trick Shooting" is fun. I am not shooting much (almost 2 years!) these days due to problems remaining from the sepsis attack in 9/20. Really hard to get around these days but who knows?

I think it was just the mention of history. No harm intended.

So we gonna start a nail driving game or what? Obviously the 25y nail target should be much smaller than the 50.

Our games mostly start with a "demonstration" by one of our gang. For instance I shot and posted targets under 1 MOA at 100 and that got the ball rolling.

Also someone would have to "run" the game.

Both of these are pretty simple.

Pardon my lack of knowledge but being in a place where a ´´can ´´is not legal, what was the problem of them being permitted ?

They weren't in the original SuperStock rules I believe hence a vote taken by request, if memory serves, I think.

Something like that. The idea of SuperStock is to build sporters that shoot like Ultimates. Some members did not feel a Sporter should have a suppressor, Unlike any other forum here we vote on rule changes. The vote allowed them and some older members here did not like that. Feelings got hurt.

Less than 1% of SuperStock rifles have suppressors.

All three SS forums are dead as hell. Maybe some new blood should have been welcomed. This city’s looking like a ghost town

That's the truth! Hope your doing well Friend! if your still in Mid Missouri look me up and lets go shooting! I'm just older and fatter and target shoot rather than squirrel hunt now. Funny thing is I had been thinking about building another SS to compete with my bolt guns. I noticed that a lot of the aftermarket support we once had is now gone also. I hope all is well.

What after market support do you mean? Not arguing at all just trying to understand what you mean. Barrels, stocks, actions and triggers seem to be out there.

I built a "Heavy" last year but have not been able to test due to medical issues.
