I made barbeque from bone-in Boston butt pork yesterday,, in the Insta Pot,,

Food Loin had 2 to 3 pound pieces of Boston butt on sale cheaper than the entire butt,,
and,, the pieces did not have any bone,, even though the label said "bone-in"

I bought 10 pounds of meat in packages,, prepped with an on-line recipe that I found,,

The ENTIRE family stopped by during the evening when they heard I had made the barbeque,,
there is not much left,,,

Funny, that's what we call them - although we only get them way out in the country here.

They were a customer of mine for many years. I liked their ethic..

Actually, what my mother called them was Food DOG,,,
because next to the name, the animal there looks like a dog,, more than a lion,,

Last night I wanted something quick and easy. Hadn't had salad in a couple days so I heated up some turkey chili and poured it onto a bed of lettuce. Sorta like a taco salad w/o the corn chips. Needed onion but I somehow put my onion in the freezer by mistake. I have a new onion now.

Tonight was just a chicken breast on a charcoal grill with some sauced brocolli and carrots. First grilling of the year. It was good. I pushed up the temp a bit, I need to back it down just a hair.

I had a dollop of tater salad at a gathering someone decided would be good with cucumber! I smelled that 'stuff' before a forkful hit my lips and scooped it all into the garbage and got a new plate n fork.
