So I finally got around to modifying the butt plate and added and adjustable pad as well to lengthen the pull to my liking. Turning into a great little shooter 1 step at a time.

Looks great! Very clean install. I always prefer adjustable butte on my rifles.... one of the things I love about competitive small bore rifles.

Thanks,Easy to do.Just purchase some aluminum stock off E-Bay for around $12 and cut to size on bandsaw and finish grinding/sanding on a disc sander to final size and purchase a Bisley Adjustable buttpad for about $20 also on E-Bay and install. I'm fairly tall (6ft.2) and have a long pull so I needed the extra length as these stocks are somewhat short.

That is a very nice job on a very nicely-finished TOZ.

Easy to do? Not for everyone.

Would like to see the rest of the gun.

Very nice. How long have you had the Toz and where did you get it? I've got the Winchester Wildcat target, but I would like a Toz sporter to pair with it.

Yours looks like a more recent production run and I'm jealous. Doubly so with the very nice adjustable buttplate you've made.

I got very lucky and won it at an auction in Atlanta for $111. I don't think anyone had heard of them before, also got a Chinese Norinco 213 at the same auction that's my favorite carry gun as well for $5 more. It has been quite a good shooter as shown by previous postings of mine and I am trying to accurize it somewhat as I have finally gotten around to spending some time disassembling it and looking more into it's functions. A very well made rifle so far. My only real concerns are the somewhat flimsy mag and as Midwest Swiss has pointed out the questionable rear mounting of the action. Those 2 along with a proper bedding job should bring grouping in tighter than I have been able to shoot so far. I am having some of the same issues addressed by Swiss in this detailed thread on it however.
