piked up another 39A

when i bought it it was because it was really nice and it had the pistol grip stock , my other one has a straight stock , i find in research its a 1952 , the other is a 1959 , i had forgotten how these vintage rifles make me feel till i spent the last week or so with it , i am really happy i made the impulse buy ,

A nice vintage 39A is hard to pass up if you see one at a good price. Have fun with it.

I too picked up a second 39A today. It'll go with my 1951 and my Henry Golden Boy.
The one I got today is a 1982 Golden 39A,it looks like it's hardly ever been fired.Pretty nice except for a scuff on the top of the barrel forward of the receiver and a few minor paint splashes on the furniture and some fairly minor scuffs and light scratches in the furniture.

How do the 1982's stack up quality wise to my 1951?
