Hi Folks,
Please let me say a big thank you to everyone who recommended the Ultradot Matchdot optics for my MK III .22 .
This scope rocks ! Very clear, light and rugged looking... i had to get it shipped to Australia from the good ol US of A.. and boy was it worh it !
I do have some issues with Astigmatism..but if i look at my target , the dot is as it should be...lol, funny though , as i thought the scope was faulty, till i Googled this mystery.... the dot looked like about 5 small LED lights , like small fingers... flaring occasionally...
It cost just under $300 Aussie dollars landed at my house.... we can get a Chinese Tasco for about $ 300, or a Bushnell ( Chinese ? ) $325.00.....or E bay Copies... $50 ... this thing kicks their buts !
Another option is an Aimpoint......wait for it........$800 AUD !
You guys have saved me once again ... well done
Anthony

The only complaint I had about my ultradot was that it would not shut itself off after a prolonged period of time...an hour or two or three...whatever...and when I forgot, naturally it would remain on until the battery died.

My fault, of course, but it isn't difficult to add such a timing device to a product that runs on batteries.

Great choice! I'm sure you will love it. Enjoy it and try to post some pics of your rig once it's all mounted.

Ordered one the end of last week.... hopefully will be here by the end of this week. The way I look at it since the UltraDot MatchDot is one of the most popular sights at Camp Perry it must be darned good.

I have a slight astigmatism, but I found that I usually only see the 5 dots when I am looking at/focusing on the dot, rather than looking at/focusing on the target, if you know what I mean.
