22lr Holders?

Any source for empty ammo holders?

Basically just want the 100 round holders cci comes in with out spending 50 bucks for 500 rounds just so I can have the cases.

I'm gonna be picking up the 5000 round case of eley from cmp and would like to break a bulk pack down to transport to the range.

I found the mtm cases, but like the ability to slide the lid to drop 5 rounds at a time as thats what I load into the mags for the wife and I to eliminate the need to count on how many rounds we're putting on target. Less think more pew

Thanks, Greg

Amazon has the mtm ones for sub 3$ and the hinge was better. Actually a hinge vs folding plastic, but both work.

I pick em up at the range,,,

Every time I go shooting I bring home a small stack of them,,,
Usually I'll find 5-6-7-8 of them in the trash bin,,,
And I don't really have to dig deep.

I like to break down my 550 round Federal bulk packs.

I have found that those cheap plastic standard size ammo cans,,,
Will hold sixteen of the 100 round cases.

Just sayin'

Every time I go to local wma range I do check the trash cans and have yet to find any, but I do check. No biggie that I got 14 on the way but will still look in bin at range if for no other reason than to upset the wife.

If you know someone who has a 3-D printer, they can make them for you. A fellow shooter made a couple for me. His are made to hold the clear plastic "trays" from CCI SV paper boxes. Each one holds 100 rds. He could make most any color, but I requested steel gray. Work very well. Top slides easily and evenly. He said to give him what I thought they were worth. Gave him $5.00 for two and he was quite happy. And I can never find the slide packs in the trash either!

I like the Marbles catch .22 holder, they've gotten a little pricey IMHO, but they should last forever. They hold 50 rounds all together, 5 rounds per tube stacked vertically, and you can use it as a speed loader for tube fed rifles if you have any.

I have had some of the Catch-22 holders for several years. They are very handy, especially for loading either tube mags or 10-rd mags.

My only complaint is that they are not transparent or translucent.

If it's not too much trouble, please post a picture of one of these. I would love to see what they look like.

Thanks.

A bit off topic though, Joe Ettershank makes some beautiful 22LR support trays which hold 2 boxes of 50 rounds.

Made of wood and beautifully made.

Take a look at Facebook > Anschutz Rifle Shooters > February 2, 2020.

YEs look through the rubbish bin on the range

A lot of eley ammo come in nice reusable boxes especially Eley Target or Edge which have really nice sliding boxes with a thumb hole cut out, i always felt bad just chucking them away, but kept a few when I bought that SK bean can stuff.

I've saved a few of the Match boxes but $$.

My two favorites from a friend, easily labeled with peeled off Eley labels on the lids.

I like the mini-mag 100 round cases. I have about 10 of them that I use for bulk ammo. As others have mentioned you can usually find some type in the trash cans at the range. Those metal ones are pretty cool Al.

I agree with toomanyguns on this,,,
I bought a few of these to store ammo in the rifle cases.

If they were a translucent smoke gray they would be perfect.

I gave three of these to my friends three boys,,,
He said it makes their range days a bit less hectic.
