Cooper Firearms - Customer Service

I had emailed the SR # of my 57M LVT to Cooper Firearms asking if they could give me the manufacture date , I explained that I bought the gun used in Canada.
Next day they returned email with the info. I wanted .

I thanked them and asked if I could order a users manual & parts book , they just asked for my mailing address.

Well a week later an envelope arrived with a new owners manual plus a nice
Cooper Firearms decal that looks fantastic on my gun safe .

Now that's customer service even if I am not really one of their customers..

Consistent with my experience, as well.

Cooper service has always been super at answering questions and providing parts.
A real class act... and for me the left hand option available on most of their rifles is a
deciding factor

Certainly can't complain about that

I once bought a NIB Custom Classic from the private collection of a US based Cooper dealer.

I also emailed Cooper Arms about the build date and had a reply over-night.

Mine also arrived minus the manual. It had passed through the hands of exporters, Customs, importers and dealers by the time I received it so the manual could have been lost anywhere- Maybe I should contact Cooper to see if they will send me one down here in Aus

I had suspected that their customer service would be excellent given the quality of their products, but I hadn't actually read much either way. So this is good to hear, although not surprising. As an aside, kudos to the original poster for actually taking the time to post something positive when it was deserved by a company.

My somewhat limited experience with Cooper customer service was very positive. Though the gun (A JSR) turned out to be a subpar specimen, I was quiet pleased with my communications with Cooper (communicating with Shirley, a very nice lady) and felt they went the distance with me.

My experiences are recounted in this thread:

I called Cooper and asked if I could buy a firing pin for my 57-M. They sent me two free of charge. How`s that for customer service?
