That's how it happens, right there.

Kudos for fighting the urge.

I think itís only going to get worse. Big tech is clamping down on gun related websites. The largest firearm forum on the web is getting shut down. (Ar15.com). Eventually they will come after the dealers...

Woo Hoo! I saved over $1000 on the case of AM22 I just bought!

Now I need to find buyers for all my Mini-Mags. Only $4500 for a case. Great deal!

AR15.com is getting shutdown in the next few days. This will set the stage for other web hosts to start removing content they feel is violating their terms of service.
This will lead to the throttling of bandwidth to gun/Ammo websites and eventually drive them off. Or they will update the terms of service to include a clause that would have something like ďselling items that directly contributed to an act of violenceĒ then they could pull the website down.
The AR15.com looks like the beginning of the end for online gun and ammo sales Itís only a matter of time before this very forum is targeted.

Itís a slippery slope

I am uneducated on how AR15 can be shut down ...

I am uneducated as to how AR15 can be shut down. In other discussions it seems that some think Amazon can shut them down. How ? I can understand if AR15 has an arrangement with Facebook and Facebook doesn't want to have them on their site any more it can happen. But how does the world wide web shut anyone down ? Thanks, David

Correct, they have switched to the backup server and moving to a new registrar now.

It's the servers...those that host the server are being "paid/told" shut it down...

Ar-15 found another host to get back online using their backup copy of forum...may have lost a few posts during the downtime

GoDaddy was their registrar for the website - and GoDaddy pulled their domain registration. GoDaddy is being sued for doing so in violation of their contract.

$6.29 for a 50 round box of SK Semi-Auto Rifle. Nothing wrong with that.

Every time I see a "decent" price I tell myself I have enough.... then I run to get my wallet to order another brick or two.

Forget fighting the urge, I picked up more rimfires after the madness all started!
