Either because you used the money for the new rifle, or decided that the 457 was that much superior to the 455.

I'm very impressed with my one 457, but I haven't sold any 455s as a result....

I sold my 455 for a Kidd Supergrade. Does that count?

Why would. I sell off a better gun for a lesser gun?

I used the launch of the 457 as an excuse to buy two more 455's at killer deals.

Although for my primary use (NRL22/PRS22), I probably should have just bought a 457.... Or a Bergara.... or a Vudoo....

I would never sell any of my 455s I do not care for the 457s. I think the only one I would want is the MTR varmint I also do not think they are more accurate.

CZ owners don't sell CZs, we accumulate them.

I recently traded a 455 American Synthetic and a 455 Varmint Tacticool toward my 457 Varmint Precision Chassis project. I had picked up the 455 American very reasonable with plans to use that action for my chassis build but stumbled into a good price on the 457 Varmint Precision Chassis and the addition of the 455 Tacticool funded most of the 457 Chassis model. I will say that if that Tacticool been a regular Varmint it probably would still here.

I still have a few 452's, 453's, & 455's with no current plans to reduce that inventory and currently have all the 457's that have caught my eye thus far.

There is coming a day when I will need to seriously reduce the collection . . . but I keep putting that on the back burner of a different stove.

rjferber, I also need to re-evaluate my rimfire battery. Its not easy to discard them though. I've done the exercise - for nearly each one, I have reasons for their inclusion. Not necessarily practical reasons, but good reasons.

I traded in my .22LR 455 Varmint for an early 457 Varmint MTR only because I didnít have the coin to keep both.

Hmm. I bought a 457 MTR. But I then didn't sell my 455s. So this doesn't count.
