Testing out my winter GSG project using CCI Mini Mags. 9 shots total - 5 for the 5 yard, 1 for the 7 yard and 3 for the 10 yard.
The gun has the CWA parts you can see and the Accelerator Performance Package. Stock GSG barrel and no trigger work.
I shot 10 rounds at a card at 15yards with no luck, I was about 250 rounds in for the day and running out of gas

Is that grit tape on the dust cover just ahead of the slide release?

2 personal bests for card splitting this week. 1 at 50 feet, which was kind of a chore, and then 1 at 60 feet that only took 4 shots. A good day at the range.

I also split one shooting one handed at 10 yards but couldn't get out to get the card.

Good looking CWA customized GSG 1911 22. I had lots of problems with the particular GSG I had and even Chet's upgrades could not make it work consistently. Chet even went through my upper unit himself and could not find the problem. We eventually found a weak safety which brought it to a somewhat usable level, but I had such a bad taste for it by that time . . . I wasn't going to put any additional money into the "money pit". It made the #1 spot on my list of firearms I never should have bought list.

CWA makes custom guns that are really great looking but they fairly high $.

I have never attempted to shoot cards with a rimfire . . . I may have to give that a try with my Marvel Precision Unit 1 mounted on a Foster Industries 1911 frame.

At the indoor range we can electronically turn the targets so I tape the card off the bottom of the cardboard target holder.
Outdoors it gets taped to a post or a piece of lumber set up down range.

I'm a fan of Chet's work. There are 2 GSG's modified with CWA parts in this pic plus a conversion for my 1911.

Another fan of CWAccessories here. Turned my marginal performing and frustrating Sig Sauer 1911-22 into a fun, accurate and reliable shooter. Runs fine on most all ammo. I just recently replaced the barrel with one from Chet. I'll have to break out some match ammo and try that playing card shot. Very impressive.
