455 Lux barrels eh?

Was just skimming through the CZ webstore and noticed they now sell the CZ 455 Lux barrels on there own now. Not sure if im a bit late to the party realizing this... but it is a neat option now that you can put a barrel with irons sights on any stock/action set up!

Maybe they'll release ones with the 452 tangent ladder sight someday...

My oddball wish

I always wanted a Marlin Garden Gun or any 22 rimfire designed for use with shotshells. That being said, I would consider a smoothbore American(sightless) barrel in either LR or WMR for use as my bolt action rimfire shotgun. Anyone with an older 3 story barn can understand the reasoning I realize not many think as I do on this and I am somewhat embarrassed sharing these thoughts on a public forum But, I believe I'm among friends

I'd love a 455 American in 17m2.

The iron sight option on any 455 is nice, though.

Hmmmm . . .

A bit too late for me. I wanted an 455 American with iron sights but none was available locally at the time so I traded the 455 for a 452 Trainer. I really like the Trainer but think the straight stocked American with irons would be a good fit for me as I am a "stock crawler" and prefer a tight cheek weld.

Is it possible to get a 455 American with iron sighted barrel new w/o having to purchase a plain barreled version first? I understand one cannot at this point. Please correct me if wrong.

As far as I know you are correct. No open sighted American stocked rifle on the horizon but I like the idea myself.
