Since the pic was taken, we swapped out the barrels with stainless 18" muzzle-weighted, and scalloped and bedded the stocks... we actually have two of these, one for my son and one for me... They Shoot!

I like the look of an AR, but hate the cal. Sory if I offend anybody, and it might just be me, but .223 is horrible. I have never shot as well with .223 as I have with .308 or .30-06. If i had to choose a Tac Rifle I'd take an M-16A1. But if it was my choice, I'd take a good old M-14.

Tapco Stock, Eotech clone, factory barrel cut down to 16 1/2" and threaded, YHM muzzle, Valquartsen hammer, barrel, receiver, & trigger housing are Cerekoted in OD.

It's not quite as fancy as the other rifles in this thread, but I think it will do. I think it has kind of an AK look more than anything, but it's just meant to be a fun 10/22. I've had it for almost 15 years now.



= Choate pistol grip stock
= Cheap 3-9 scope (room for improvement there)
= Polymer buffer
= Partial trigger spring kit (ended up keeping the stock hammer spring due to light strikes)
= Tac Inc mags
= Barrel threaded by Gemtech
= Gemtech Outback II suppressor

It's scary quiet with Winchester subsonic.
