All tapered profiles
If anyone needs a lightweight barrel 1.0 pounds for an all steel barrel is pretty good. Iím trying to remember what Zimmerman arms lightweight barrel weighed.

Supposedly the barrels shoot ~0.25 @ 25 yards but Iím waiting to see some 50 yards groups from people.

In the AR15 world their barrels are pretty good and a great value.

Figured some of you might be interested.

Standard Factory Barrel: 1.78 lbs

Not cheap.
No mention of what Chamber specs.
All aftermarket barrels will shoot .25 at 25 yds.

Call me a skeptic.

Thanks Frank3 for the info. Faxon website and this post has been added to the "Available after market 10/22 barrels?" sticky. Good Job! AH

I hope they are as good as their AR barrels. I have one in 350 Legend, and one in .308. Very pleased with both.

When my current AR barrels wear out, I am definitely getting Faxon Match 223 and 308 barrels.

I want to say it was asked on Instagram and they said a variant of bentz.

I am hopeful but i just shot my Kidd LW barrel and with mid grade Eley ammo it did a 0.38 ctc for 10 shots at 50 (perfect conditions and a great rest) normally itís a 0.50 for 10 shots but I can imagine anything beating Kidd for the price or Feddersen.

Still I would love to see them do well.

Chamber Info............

Copied directly from their web site & posted below:

Specifications:

Barrel Caliber: .22 LR
Barrel Chamber: .22 LR Sporting

I was interested in their 16" straight fluted barrel for a youth build, but when I saw the chamber data...........Decided to pass!

I agree. It sounds interesting, but pending more than a few glowing reports on accuracy, I'm on the sidelines.

If Faxon gets enough feedback, they could easily switch to a different chamber in the future.

Maybe we need to start sending e-mails saying we are interested, but a sporting chamber is a deal breaker.

A black nitrided stainless barrel would be a great woods barrel in a wet environment. Not shiny, and isn't going to rust. Faxon is great with surface conversion coatings.
