Now my question is spare mags?

Has anyone used the K mags and if so how do they work?

I ordered the pistol from Classic as I'm sure it's going to be the bottom of the barrel
We will see

Thanks

Please keep us posted on the 76

I have a 102, which I believe is the same gun with a different number. It is great fun to shoot, and I am sure yours will be as well. As far as cosmetics, assume the worst and understand that form and function are two different things. If it functions well, it is a good purchase. If it doesn't, back she goes.

I bought a beat up S&W model 19 once. Looked like it just came out of an evidence room after a hard life, but it was accurate and pleasant to shoot. I sold it at a local auction, made some money but often wish I had kept it. Ugly was only skin deep.

It looks great! Did you pay the extra $30 to have the best of 10 select gun or did you gamble that you might get a nice one. Either way that is a nice looking gun!

Just curious, is there supposed to be an E-clip on the trigger/slide stop pin under the take down lever? Can someone take a picture of one with the take down lever in the forward position? Would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks

If you look closely you can see the e-clip under the take down lever.

Thanks, just what I was suspecting. FWIW, if you have problems with aftermarket mags, ie. Triple K, not activating the slide stop check and make sure this clip is there. Otherwise, the slide stop will back out just enough to not work. Just my .02 from personal experience. 😉👍

I'm glad that helped. FWIW I've found that 3K magazines are never worth the money to purchase for any firearm.

Good luck with your purchase.

I bought my 76 while visiting a local gunstore. It was love at first sight. It had wooden grips, the box, paperwork and two factory magazines.

It is ammo specific, I must have tried 6 types of ammo and never got it to function property. I even snagged another factory magazine off Gunbroker in the meantime. (Hint: act fast).

Finally, found the ammo it likes, SK pistol. Its expensive these days, but I was thirty out of thirty the last time I shot it and stopped while I was ahead.

HTH
