Polish WZ-78 Trigger Guard Project

Ok, I've had several express interests in a metal trigger guard. My though was to use a profile similar to the
factory so the rifle keeps its same original look. Cost will be about $49 for aluminum with a black finish or
about $79 for steel with a dark blued finish.

I would need at least 30 to commit in this thread to pull this off as the shop is doing me a HUGE favor by
running such a small batch.

Thank You for your input

.

Actually either Steel or Aluminum would be fine but please change the trigger guard shape and size. The rifle has such trim, neat lines and then they had to go and add that humongous plastic monstrosity of a trigger guard.

I could even have lived with a plastic trigger guard but the size of the existing guard totally detracts from the lines of the gun. Something more elegant would be nice.

I will always have the original trigger guard to re-install if I was to become concerned with restoring the gun to its original shape. I plan on keeping all the parts.

Wifama Trigger Guard

I would be very interested in a metal trigger guard for the Wifama 78 and I'd like two, since I own two. I guess I'd go for either aluminum or steel with a slight preference for steel. Also, I would definitely go for the original size and shape.

Let me know when they become available.

I would prefer the polished blue steel but would accept the aluminum without problem. Hopefully the original profile could be changed to something more elegant. A set of your Torx-head action and wood screws would be the frosting....

While I voted for aluminum and original profile, I'm open to either metal and a different profile too. I'm interested in durability. The original trigger guard will be saved anyway so that the rifle can be returned to issue status if necessary.

I'm in for just something different. Preference would be aluminum and a sleeker profile.

Either blue steel or aluminum would be great. A different profile would also be nice. I would also go for a set of Torx-head action and wood screws for the WZ-78 and the H&R M12.

I would also purchase one in blued steel as it is a better match to the rest of the rifle. Open to shape.

I would prefer a new/refined profile....can always put the o.e.m back in.
I think blued steel would be nice but wouldn't be disappointed with aluminum.

different profile would be nice but the trigger requires a lot of room when you push it forward to release the bolt.

I have searched every forum I have ever read because I swear somebody did this before. As I recall, he made one with a more teardrop shape and it looked awsome. I can't find that article but for the record I would prefer steel of a different shape. The original shape is ugly and distracting...why go there again?

Blue steel and a revised shape...

I'm in for blued steel with a revised shape. Should you choose to go with aluminum I'd certainly purchase that.
Thanks!

Clarifacation...

While I have already voted it wasn't clear that I will be purchasing 2 of whatever you decide to make. I prefer the blued steel with a revised shape however, I buy whatever metal you choose to make.
Thanx
