I've been skunked last two times out. Once in Shawnee and once near home. But it's ok. I got to take my gun for a walk.

Squirrel Season is over for me doing a little Turkey Preservation last week. Killed one with the Remington 552 Speedmaster and the other with a [email protected] 22A DarkDave sold me.

Just wanted to post a couple of pictures. The first is my 12 year old grandson and his first squirrel. The gun is a 870 wingmaster in 20 gauge that my dad gave me back in 1967.


The second is from this morning's hunt at Mahannah wma. Got seven. Tried for number 8 to make a MS limit but did not see another. Rifle is a ruger american .22lr using cci subs.

Excellent! I've never tried calling coon, didn't know it was a thing. Dad and I called in fox and coyote, dad is really good at that, I'm just a beginner. I have called in turkey, that will get your heart racing...especially when using a bow.
