On another note, if the head space was already a no go, wouldn't this have been a problem starting with the very first round?
Maybe yes, maybe no....until they got a little dirty.

Then as Achmed the Dead Terrorist says "KaPow!"

I ordered my M&P 15-22 Bolt Inspection Gauge on March 18th.

I called S&W on Friday, May 10th and they said they were overwhelmed with orders and will ship more in the next couple of weeks.

Mine arrived yesterday, only took about ten days from when it was ordered. No problem with my bolt.

Good Info

I bought one a few years back and still in the box never been fired. Planned on giving it to my son. Anyhow just browsing and see the ALERT.

THANK YOU FOR THE HEADS UP!

Will order gauge tomorrow. Then I probably should start testing the gun and buy my son something else

Imho the Sig 522 is a superior rifle, aluminum receiver, cycles everything from CCI Quiets on up. Nice trigger too. I never understood the appeal of the 1522, too much plastic for me.

if you want an all metal 15-22 type rifle, look at the Tippmann Arms M4-22
