I wish I had the experience with those rings. By the time I woke up to them, they were no where to be found. Still are no where to be found.

Ha!! Speaking of a master UL enabler himself. Long tall Sally will be safe in your heart Cow. These are more like a Heavy Fat Sally.

Also been working on a modified mount for the Brno sights on these things.

Midway has Signature Zees in stock this afternoon, as long as you can use medium/gloss.

Yea, OB...

Let us know if you are able to fit Brno sights on that Pole, eh..

I'm really starting to dislike scopes, but will have to use one for a while with this one since I can't make my eyes work on the typical post & notch sights. Any kind of aperture sights would be really great for me, anyway!

Hope to get to the range Friday & Saturday if the weather guesser is anywhere near close to right, so the Czech family will get a good workout in the meantime

BTW, I really can't blame anyone here for enabling.. I'm just a sucker for a good rifle !!

thanks for the tip on extra mags. called them today and asked if I could order two being I just purchased a rifle. sales person was very nice and said yes. I ordered two. on my first wz 78 I got last Feb. I put on a BKL 454MB its a 4" long cantilever mount. It holds tight and works fine. box says for 14mm dovetails.

They are usually very accurate........match chamber, bull 25" barrel and a benchrest style stock.
The biggest complaints are extra mags are non-existant, and a rivetted trigger group (but adjustable). If I ever lost mine, i would buy another.
Oldblades,

By 'match chamber' do you mean that when a round is inserted in the chamber under finger pressure, that the round won't drop into the chamber up to the cartridge rim? You're saying the rim will stop short of the chamber edge and the bolt must finish seating it; like in my Winchester 52 or my Remington 40X (I hope, I hope). Match chamber guns are usually more accurate by far!

BTW, I discovered (okay, stumbled over) Burris Signature Zee Rings about 1999. I've been hooked on them ever since!

Yes, that is correct. The Wz-78 that I own is like that and quite accurate.
