These have been out for a while but I have only seen one thread on here about them.

Anyone have one that could share their thoughts about it?

Also how do Tactical innovations receivers typically compare to ones like Kidd?

I could see where someone doing some of the speed games may find it a bit advantages...otherwise I don't see the point of having one

Never had one but really like the concept. Maybe one day. Now the SS offering looks super sweet for a heavy bench gun. https://www.tacticalinc.com/catalog/product/5003-03611

I fully intended to use one on a build, and at the last minute changed my mind. Was thinking it might improve reload time on knockdown matches, but then decided there were just too many times where I wouldn't want it. Many a time I'll hold the gun almost one handed in the right hand holding the bolt back with the thumb on that hand doing something or other. Showing clear in a steel match, much of the same. I'm never quick on seating a 10-22 mag anyway, and there's a lot of motion with that left hand to the point that in the end, its not going to be a whole lot quicker than going right hand charge. I ended up just getting their standard receiver. Not limited on bolt handles that route either down the road if ever I switched. I still think its pretty neat, I chose otherwise on that gun.

Can you use any bolt in that or do you have to have one of theirs?

I don't know.

I would hope you could use others but it doesn't way either way on their website.

You can use any bolt. It comes with a charging handle, it just has the rod on the inner side instead of the far side.
