In response to these two posts ...
I sent some emails to European American Armory:

Since Remington has dropped the Baikal and Zastava firearms,
will EAA be picking-up the lines?

Follow-up Question:

Is EAA actively seeking to regain the Izhmash contract form RAA?
And, if EAA does reacquire the Izhmash line will EAA attempt
to expand the model line-up to include the upper tier target rifles
or rifle models that are not being currently imported.
There is a market, albeit a small one, for the higher grade target rifles.
It would be wonderful if EAA could service this group of shooters
at least on a special order basis.

Sir,
Please visit our sister site @ www.ussginc.com ,
this is the Baikal line that we are still importing in.

I felt it was important to ask the follow-up question.
Perhaps, EAA is being coy with their non-response.
But, since EAA was the last importer of Izhmash firearms prior to RAA.
It maybe possible that EAA is interested in pursuing the Izhmash contract.
